The tournament saw large brackets, with some weight classes having 18 competitors, and 360 athletes in attendance in total.
Despite the tough competition, the UCC Lancers had 2 medalists.
Maddison Segeren lost a tight match to the eventual Gold medalist. Their bout could have gone either way with a potential 4 point double leg in the last 5 seconds of the final period. She continued to pin her other opponents to earn a Bronze medal.
Marcus Jones took a Silver medal home after a tough fight.
Ben Parent and K.D.Jung both placed 5th. Each of them had some great matches but met some dynamic wrestlers.
The UCC Lancers will travel to Tecumseh Vista next Saturday to compete.
The LKSSAA wrestling championships are February 15.
