Paxton Reflects On Hard Year

The Wallaceburg Lakers are taking some time to breathe after a disappointing year.
Head Coach Ryan Paxton says the team was plagued by injury and frustration toward the end of the season.

“It was tough for those kids that were there all year. the fourth coach of the year. At first they admited to us they didn’t know  how long we were going to be there but they bought in pretty quick and they bought in we showed that we were going to be staying there it worked against Lakeshore game where we beat them at home.  Even in the Dresden game they played their hearts out and we feel we got robbed in that game.
