Former Maroons Lift Dukes To OJHL Championship

The Dukes defeated the Georgetown Raiers 4-3 in overtime Sunday night in game 6, to win the series 4-2.
Wellington now advances to the Dudley Hewitt Cup.
Josh Supryka scored in Sunday’s win, while Yetman had an assist.
Despite playing 11 fewer playoff games than his teammates after joining the Dukes once the Chatham Maroons were eliminated, Yetman led the Dukes in goals with 11, and was 5th in team scoring with 15 points in 14 games played. Supryka had 8 points through 14 games.
Teddy McGeen was second in postseason scoring for Wellington, notching 18 points in 25 games.
Andrew Barbeau, a defender for the Dukes also played one game for the Maroons a few seasons ago.
