Gracie Barra Students Bring Home Hardware

Over the weekend May 12/13 Gracie Barra Chatham students competed at the Ontario International Jiu Jitsu Championships at the Toronto International Center in Mississauga.

Frank “The Tank” Brady wins gold at the Ontario International Jiu Jitsu Championships.

The event is the largest competition in Ontario boasting over 1800 competitors.

The results of the athletes are as follows for their perspective divisions (belt, weight, age).

GOLD- Lincoln Kocsis, Owen Diemer, Frank “The Tank” Brady

SILVER- Honour Clark, Maxwell Bayley

BRONZE- Ethan Felhaber, Darchan Alfaro, Rob Rankin, Robbie St Jean

Also congrats to Darko Alfaro, Tyler Marentette, Armand Anderson, Kelsie Parish and Zakkery VandenBerg who all fought hard!

Canadian Nationals and OJA No-Gi Provincials up next June 23/24 in Markham.
