Red Devils Red Hot

The Wallaceburg Red Devils are one of the hottest teams in Ontario right now, putting together a pair of convincing wins this weekend.

Already more than a third of the way through their season, the Wallaceburg Red Devils sit in first in the Ontario Junior B Far West Division with a 6-1 record.

Wallaceburg improved that record this weekend defeating the Owen Sound North Stars 14-4 on Saturday, before beating the Guelph Regals 19-7 Sunday at home.

Saturday against Owen Sound, Tyler Brown had 3 goals and 2 assists, while Vern Hill scored 4, and added a helper to lead the Wallaceburg Red Devils.

Sunday, Marshall Powless had an incredible 10-point game, including 4 goals.

Kyle Dawson, who leads Wallaceburg in scoring this season with 34 points in only 6 games, had 8-points, including 5 goals.

Wallaceburg is back in action Thursday on the road against the London Blue Devils.
