Montour Avoids Arbitration, Signs With Ducks
Former Tilbury resident Brandon Montour avoided NHL arbitration this week, re-upping with the Anaheim Ducks on a two-year contract.
The two-year contract is worth a total of $6.775 million.
Montour, a former Chatham-Kent Cyclones defender spent his first full season in the NHL last year, collecting 9 goals and 32 points in 80 games for the Ducks.
He is a two-time AHL All-Star game participant, and was a member of the 2015-2016 AHL All-Rookie team. He is also a former best defenseman of both the GOJHL and USHL.
