Trent Fox Signs With ECHL’s Fort Wayne Komets

Trent Fox will play professional hockey next season with the ECHL’s Fort Wayne Komets.

The Thamesville product, will join Blenheim’s Jamie Schaafsma on the Komets. Schaafsma currently serves as team captain.

Fox is coming off the completion of a four year OHL career, where he played 285 regular season and playoff games, collecting 187 points.

The 6’3″ forward spent last season with the Mississauga Steelheads, scoring a career high 53 points, including 24 goals.

His brother, Dane Fox began his professional hockey career in the ECHL, before advancing to play professionally in Germany.

Trent Fox was among four players signed by the Komets yesterday, including Jeff King, Thomas Ebbing, and Mathieu Nadeau.
