Ladd On NHL Central Scouting’s Players To Watch List
Grayson Ladd of Kent Bridge is on the NHL Central Scouting Services early season “Players to Watch” list for the upcoming 2019 NHL Priority Selection Draft.
He received a “C” rating, which indicates 4th, 5th, and 6th round candidates for the NHL Draft.
Ladd, who is a defenseman for the OHL’s Windsor Spitfires is entering his second OHL season. He has one goal through 4 games this season after collecting 6 assists in 52 games last season splitting time between the Spitfires and Kitchener Rangers, who drafted him 13th overall in the OHL draft.
The former Chatham-Kent Cyclones captain also attended selection camp this summer for Canada’s U18 team.
Ladd was among 44 OHL players named to the list, and 15 defenseman.
Only two OHL players, Ryan Suzuki and Arthur Kaliyev received “A” rating, while 11 players received “B” ratings.
