Trent Fox Released From ECHL

Trent Fox was released this week by the ECHL’s Fort Wayne Komets, after signing with the team in the offseason.

Fox didn’t appear in a game for the Komets, who opened their season Friday defeating the Indy Fuel 3-1.

Last season, the six-foot-three forward, who hails from Thamesville, scored 53 points in 60 games for the OHL’s Mississauga Steelheads.

It is unclear where Fox will play, or if he will play this season.
