Goure At OHL Combine

Local hockey prospect Deni Goure will participate in the 2019 OHL Development Combine which takes place March 30-31 at the Tribute Communities Centre in Oshawa.

Goure, who is considered a top 30 pick in this year’s OHL Draft, captained the Chatham-Kent Cyclones and was named the Alliance Player of the Year.

He also played a handful of games for the Chatham Maroons.

76 players (36 forwards, 24 defencemen, and 16 goaltenders) born in 2003 will take part in the OHL Combine events, both on, and off ice.

Goure will compete with Team Lindros.

“The OHL Combine offers prospective players with a unique experience to enhance their own personal development,” said Joe Birch, OHL Senior Director of Player Development and Special Events in an OHL release. “The skills testing helps identify off and on-ice strengths to help players achieve their peak another platform to showcase their talents in a new environment alongside their peers in advance of the Priority Selection.”

Players will participate in on ice skills testing, off ice fitness testing, interviews, and on ice games.

The OHL Priority Selection Draft is April 6.
