Deni Goure Drafted 10th Overall

Deni Goure was the first local player selected in the OHL Draft, being chosen 10th overall in the first round by the Owen Sound Attack.

Goure, the Chatham-Kent Cyclones captain this year, finished third in Alliance Minor Midget ‘AAA’ scoring with 22 goals and 53 points in only 32 games. He hit the scoresheet on a remarkable 54% of his team’s goals this season.

Goure also played a handful of games this season for the GOJHL’s Chatham Maroons.
