The annual OHL Priority Selection Draft is this weekend, and at least one local prospect is destined to be drafted.

Grande Pointe’s Deni Goure is considered by most to be a late first round, to early second round prospect. Goure, a prolific offensive talent, carried the Chatham-Kent Cyclones Minor Midget ‘AAA’ team this year.

Goure finished the Alliance regular season third in league scoring with 22 goals and 53 points in 32 games.

Another player considered a late round prospect for the Cyclones is Nicholas Mazza who had 33 points in 33 games this season.

There is a chance other Cyclones could also hear their names called in the later rounds.

The draft begins online at 9am. Follow CKSN.ca for full results.
