The Winnipeg Jets have re-signed Wallaceburg, Ontario product Seth Griffith to a one-year, two-way $700,000 contract.

Griffith, 26, scored a team leading 57-points, including 16 goals for the American Hockey League’s Manitoba Moose, Winnipeg’s top farm team.

Griffith did not suit up for Winnipeg last season, despite a strong preseason performance.

Griffith also has 79 career National Hockey League games on his resume, scoring 19-points in that span.

Glad to see that Seth has resigned with the Jets and is on a two-way contract. Let’s hope he gets a chance to play with the big club and not just the Moose.
