Goaltender Brett Brochu has signed with the OHL’s London Knights.

Brochu, a Tilbury product, who spent last season with the Dresden Jr. Kings, was named Rookie of the Year for the PJHL’s Stobbs Division.

We are also very pleased to welcome Brett to the London Knights organization,” said Knights General Manager, Mark Hunter in a team news release. “Brett is a talented goaltender who won the Rookie of the Year award in the PJCHL. We look forward to him building upon that success in the OHL and are excited to welcome him to our organization.”

Brochu played 38 of Dresden’s 40 games last season, winning a province leading 27 times. He had a .915 save percentage and 2.46 goals against average. Brochu, the Kings underage player this season, was a draft pick of the OHL’s London Knights last spring.

Brochu, who was the Knights 6th round pick, 114th overall in 2018, is entering his NHL Draft eligible year.
