Matteis, Tran’s At Canadian Junior Championships

Quinn Matteis, along with David Tran and Madeleine Tran will compete at the Canadian Junior Championships in Calgary this week, from July 24-29.

The trio of swimmers are representing the Chatham Y Pool Sharks.

Matteis, 14, was the top point recipient in the Boys 14 year old age category recently at the Provincial Championships, winning the 400m, 800m, and 1500m free events and placing second in the 200m free and 200m individual medley.

Tran also competed in Provincials, with his top finish being 6th in the 50m free.
