Meghan Zelina will suit up for the St. Clair Saints women’s basketball team this coming season.

Zelina, a product of Wilkesport, will study in the Construction Engineering Technician, and is set to join her sister Kirsten Zelina on the Saints’ roster.

The Wallaceburg Airhawks product, is a five-foot-nine swing player. According to St. Clair head coach Andy Kiss, the team is excited to have Zelina join their roster.

“Meghan…will give us a hybrid-type player that can defend the perimeter as well as inside with her length,” said Kiss following Zelina’s signing.

“Her skill set fits well with our running and pressing style. She has experience with a winning high school and club program so she understands the championship culture. We expect to use her as a 3 or 4 to complement our core group of stellar guards. We are thrilled that she is joining our basketball family.”

Chatham products Jana Kucera and Logan Kucera are stars on the St. Clair Saints roster. Zelina continues to add to a strong Chatham-Kent contingent on the roster. The Saints roster also included Wallaceburg’s Jaimi Chauvin last season.
