Local Teen Hosting Family Golf Tournament For Juvenile Arthritis
The Second Annual Family Scramble for Juvenile Arthritis will be held at Willow Ridge Golf Course in Blenheim on Saturday, September 14. The format features each team of 4 containing at least one kid and one adult.
Last year Zach and his group of supporters otherwise known as Zacoz Amigoz were able to raise over $1500 for efforts in dealing with and fighting Juvenile Arthritis.
Diagnosed with a form of Juvenile Arthritis in 2016 Zach made a decision last year to try and do something to help other kids like him cope with this debilitating disease. When asked about what lead him to organizing a tournament he says, “I love golf, and it is a great way to get families out
for a day of fun and do some damage to juvenile arthritis”.
Entry is $55 per golfer and includes 9 holes of golf with cart, dinner, prizes and lots of fun. There are still openings available, anyone interested in participating is encouraged to sign up online at zacozamigoz.com or contact Scott at 226-626-9994.
