The Chatham-Kent Cyclones hosted the London Jr. Knights on Wednesday, October 30 at Memorial
Arena.
Chatham came out of the gates strong with an excellent forecheck game and worked hard on the
backcheck when being pressured by London.
The Knights skill took over in the second period and dominated for much of the game. Led by Bryce
McConnell-Barker, London showed why they will be one of the teams to beat in Alliance Hockey this
year.
Chatham pushed hard in the third period with some hard work Ryan Gagner and Beau Depencier, but
they were unable to tie the game. London ended up with a 7-3 win.
Here are some of the highlighted players from this game:
#18 Bryce McConnell-Barker, F, London Jr. Knights – Deep in skill and Hockey IQ, McConnell-Barker is deadly with the puck and can bury it in a hurry. Excellent back check in this game. Good motor on this player that did not subside even when the game was out-of-reach.
