Blades Add Two Junior B Players

The PJHL’s Blenheim Blades have added a pair of local players who had been competing at the Junior B level this season.

The team signed Tate Bowden of Tilbury, who has spent this season with the Chatham Maroons, along with Matt Cunningham of Chatham, who has spent the season playing for the Sarnia Legionnaires.

Bowden had 8 goals and 14 points in 29 games as a rookie with the GOJHL’s Maroons. He is a Chatham-Kent Cyclones alumni and spent last season playing for the Windsor Jr. Spitfires Major Midget ‘AAA’ team.

Cunningham had 3 goals and 4 points with the Legionnaires. He spent last season with the Lambton Jr. Sting Major Midget ‘AAA’ team.
