Maroons And Vipers To Meet In Opening Round

LaSalle currently sits 4th, while Chatham sits 5th. Although Chatham can catch LaSalle to grab home ice advantage, as they sit only 2 points behind the Vipers with a game in hand, neither of the two teams can fall out of 4th or 5th position.
Early in the season, LaSalle dominated the Maroons outscoring them 36-12, beating them 4 times before November 17.
In their most recent meeting however on February 2, Chatham pulled off a 3-2 win over LaSalle.
The Maroons don’t finish their regular season until February 23.
