Former Cyclone Van De Ven Picked By Greyhounds

Former Chatham-Kent Cyclones defender Caleb Van De Ven was drafted by the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in the 13th round of the OHL Draft on Saturday.

Van De Ven played for the Cyclones last season in his Major Bantam season. He was the 244th overall pick in the 2020 OHL Draft.

The 6’1″ right shot blueliner had 5 points in 31 games for the Lambton Jr. Sting ‘AAA’ team this season.

The Deleware product also scored a goal for the GOJHL’s St. Thomas Stars, appearing in 4 games for the Stars as an affiliate.
