Zander Veccia Selected 43rd Overall By Mississauga In The OHL Draft
Veccia becomes a 3rd round pick.
The Ridgetown product spent last season playing for the Elgin-Middlesex Chiefs, helping them to back-to-back Alliance Hockey championships.
He finished 7th overall in Alliance regular season scoring with 20 goals and 46 points in 29 games.
Veccia followed that up by scoring 18 points in only 16 playoff games en route to the Alliance title.
Veccia is the second Chatham-Kent pick, following Brady Stonehouse who went 26th overall to Ottawa.
