Former Chatham Maroons forward Jordan Frasca is fresh off a big season with the OHL’s Kingston Frontenacs, and when hockey returns, he’s poised for even more.

“I believe my key to success was confidence. Joining the Kingston Frontenacs I had more opportunity and was able to grow and learn as a player and person.”

Frasca was acquired by Kingston from the Windsor Spitfires in the offseason, and he saw his totals almost double in his second full OHL year. Frasca scored 15 goals and 43 points in 58 games last year.

While he’s making individual contributions, it’s team goals that keep Frasca driven.

“I think my biggest goal is to win and go far in the playoffs. I would do this by making an impact every game.”

Frasca who played for the Chatham Maroons in 2017-2018, is one of many budding stars on the Frontenacs, who also include phenom Shane Wright, who was the OHL and CHL Rookie of the Year, after earning exceptional status into the OHL.

“He is an amazing person and player. He makes everyone around him better and always puts the team first. He competes super hard, is very disciplined and is very smart player.”

Now that Frasca is settled in on a team he loves, with strong teammates, he’s ready for the puck to drop again in Kingston.

“It’s less stressful knowing that you’re staying, and settling down in Kingston has been exciting.”
