Fox Returns To The Ice As DEL Season Begins In Germany

Dane Fox saw his first game action of the season with the Nurnberg Ice Tigers.

The Ice Tigers dropped their regular season opener 5-1 to Adler Mannheim, but are back in action again Wednesday against ERC Ingolstadt.

Fox was held off the scoresheet in the loss.

Fox, a Thamesville product, is in his second tour of duty with the DEL’s Nurnberg Ice Tigers. He previously spent the 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 seasons with the team.

Last season Fox played for Denmark’s Frederikshavn White Hawks scoring 24 goals and 59 points in 48 games.
