Lynx Drop Opener On Last Second Shot

Chatham’s Bridget Carleton was held off the scoresheet in the WNBA season opener for the Minnesota Lynx, a 77-75 loss to the Phoenix Mercury.

Carleton played 12:22 in the loss.

Minnesota held a lead until the final second of the game when Phoenix’s Diana Taurasi hit a three-pointer to lift Phoenix into the lead, and give them the win.

Carleton and the Minnesota Lynx are back in action May 18 against the New York Liberty.
