Tilbury’s Dylan Schives is heading West after signing with the BCHL’s Prince George Spruce Kings.

General Manager Mike Hawes was thrilled to add the Major Junior veteran.

We’re thrilled to add a veteran like Dylan to our team. I was very impressed with conversations with Dylan. He checks all the boxes regarding the type of person we like to bring into our group. Combine that with his on-ice abilities and leadership traits and I know he will be a huge part of our team this season.”

Schives split the past three seasons with the QMJHL’s Quebec Remparts and Baie-Comeau Drakkar playing 128 total games in the league.

Prior to that, Schives, a Chatham-Kent Cyclones alumni, played his 16-year-old season with the GOJHL’s Chatham Maroons.
