Jacob Vancoillie Earns Shutout In First Junior Start

Underage netminder Jacob Vancoillie earned his first Junior win, and first Junior shutout, in his first Junior start for the Blenheim Blades on Thursday.
Vancoillie, who played for the Chatham-Kent Cyclones U16 ‘AAA’ team last year stopped 20 shots in a 4-0 Blenheim Blades win over the Amherstburg Admirals.
The six-foot goalie from Tilbury was considered a strong prospect for last year’s OHL Draft.
Connor Wright, Seth Henderson, Tate Bowden, and Ben Barnard scored in the win for Blenheim.
