Locals Play In Shamrock All-Star Game

Several local hockey players competed in the Shamrock Hockey league U15 and U18 All-Star games Sunday in Mooretown.

In the U18 game, which played to a 6-6 tie, Wallaceburg’s Cohen Veenstra, Aiden Morse, and Mason Jacobs (pictured above) particpated, as did Sean Roberts, Mitch Anderson, and Landon Hoskins from the South Kent Lightning. From Dresden, Gabriel Heuvelmans and Griffin Kelly were representatives.

In the U15 All-Star game, which Team Black won 3-2, Brayden Burm, Jeffery Mackinnon and Garet Vandendool represented Wallaceburg, while Mack Anderson and Cory Beecroft played for the South Kent Lightning. Dresden representatives were Carson Nogueira, Brady VanHooste, and Michael Grand.
