Ainsworth, Little Win OUA Volleyball Gold With Brock

Erie Beach’s Laurin Ainsworth and Chatham’s Natalie Little helped the Brock University Badgers win the first OUA women’s volleyball championship in school history this past weekend.

Brock swept the Toronto Varsity Blues 3-1 (25-15, 25-17, 17-25, 25-15) to capture the Quigley Cup.

“This road hasn’t been easy. They say whatever doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, and I think that’s what’s happened to us,” said Steve Delaney, Brock’s coach. “Tough times motivated us to work hard to make it back to nationals. I’m just happy we did it.”
