Local Prospects Prepare For This Weekend’s OHL Draft
Chatham-Kent Cyclones prospects will be closely watching the OHL Draft as it takes place Friday and Saturday, April 29-30.
Aidan Edwards is the top local prospect for the Chatham-Kent Cyclones, projected as a possible mid- to late-round pick in the draft.
Edwards was Chatham-Kent’s leading scorer this season with 15 goals and 28 points in 33 games.
Netminder Jack Martin is another potential late-round pick.
Michael Misa, an Oakville, Ontario product was recently granted exceptional status into the OHL Draft and could go first overall. Another top candidate for the first pick includes GTHL Player of the Year Malcolm Spence.
