Brochu Invited To Vancouver Canucks Development Camp
Brett Brochu went undrafted for the third straight season, and for the third straight season, and NHL team came calling immediately with an invite to their NHL Development Camp.
This time, Brochu will attend camp with the Vancouver Canucks.
Brochu this season with the London Knights was named the OHL Goaltender of the Year and an OHL First Team All-Star. Prior to the pandemic cancelled season he was named to the OHL’s All-Rookie Team and awarded the Dinty Moore Trophy for owning the OHL’s best GAA by a rookie. He also led the OHL in GAA that season.
Brochu was selected to represent Team Canada at the World Junior Championship this winter before the event was cancelled, and spent last season practicing with the AHL’s Wilkes/Barre-Scranton Penguins, appearing in one game for the team.
