All Ontario Farmers Curling Bonspiel returns after hiatus

A premier curling bonspiel is returning following a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 36th annual All Ontario farmers Curling Bonspiel is scheduled for January 20-22 at the Sydenham Community Curling Club (SCCC) in Wallaceburg.

A total of 28 teams from across Ontario will travel to Wallaceburg for this three-day bonspiel and share in a prize board of more than $15,000. One team will take home the first-place prize of $3,000 cash, provided by Waddick Fuels.

Major sponsorship support is also being supplied by a wide range of agricultural businesses.

A dedicated committee of volunteers from the organizing committee, led by Jerry Meyskens, and non-farm members of the SCCC will provide entertainment and all meals for the three-day event. Shuttle vans will also be provided to transport out-of-town curlers to and from their hotels. Tractor races will also take place during the event.
