CK Cougars moving up the ranks in OSFL

A David and Goliath story continues for the Chatham-Kent Cougars in the OSFL Under 12 Division (also known as Peewee).

Coached by Jeremy Rogers, their team is over-matched by numbers, but not by effort. With the smallest roster in the league (18 players), they have been playing, competing, and beating larger teams.

This past weekend they improved to 3-0-1 after defeating the Niagara Generals, one of the league’s top teams, in an exciting game. Niagara had the ball at the four yard line with less than a minute left but we’re held out of the end zone.

The Cougars are now in second place and will play the league’s leading team, the Waterloo Jr Warriors, next week. A win will move them to first place.
