Lambton Kent Composite School is proud to nominate Olivia Grubb for the Dr. Jack Parry Award.

Olivia is known as a reliable, bright leader, ready to help with any activity. Across all subjects, Olivia maintains a high average. She is a responsible, conscientious student, who uses excellent time management skills to achieve at a very high level.

She is a dependable and committed participant of the L.K.C.S. Student Council and actively leads the student body as its Prime Minister. She sits on the LKDSB Student Senate, and her volunteerism has helped the Dresden Horticulture Society, IODE, and Dresden Rotary.

In addition, she is a recognized member of the school’s basketball, volleyball, curling, badminton and soccer teams, earning MVP and Coaches Choice awards.

Since 1994, Chatham Kent has recognized the top male and female graduating student athletes in each school. At the annual ceremony recognizing these top graduates, one male and one female are awarded the Dr. Parry Award along with a post secondary scholarship.

The award recognizes a balanced high degree of athletic ability, scholastic excellence, and contributions outside of the classroom to the school and community — a balance Dr. Parry himself embodied during his illustrious life.
