Dr. Jack Parry Award Nominees — Zach Clarke

Leading up to the annual Dr. Jack Parry Awards ceremony on June 15, CKSN will celebrate Chatham-Kent’s top student-athletes by featuring each local school’s nominees for 2023.

Zach Clarke

John McGregor Secondary School is pleased to have Zach Clarke as its Jack Parry Nominee. He is an all-around athlete whose hard work and dedication allowed him to shine in multiple sports, especially track & field.

Zach is our “go-to” person when we need volunteers for school activities and he has worked very hard in the classroom, earning an average of 95% throughout every year of high school.

He received the OFSAA Character Athlete Award and was recognized as our Academic Athlete of the Year.

Zach will be studying Human Kinetics at the University of Windsor in the fall and will be competing for the Track and Field team.

Since 1994, Chatham Kent has recognized the top male and female graduating student athletes in each school. At the annual ceremony recognizing these top graduates, one male and one female are awarded the Dr. Parry Award along with a post secondary scholarship.

The award recognizes a balanced high degree of athletic ability, scholastic excellence, and contributions outside of the classroom to the school and community — a balance Dr. Parry himself embodied during his illustrious life.
