Stonehouse named to U18 Team Canada squad

On Tuesday, Blenheim’s Abby Stonehouse was named by Hockey Canada as a member of Team Canada for the IIHF under-18 women’s world championship.

The world championship will take place Jan. 6-12 in Zug Switzerland.

Stonehouse was a member of last year’s gold medal-winning U18 team that won gold in Sweden.

A Penn State commit, Stonehouse plays for the Waterloo Ravens in the U22 Ontario Women’s Hockey League. In 15 games with the Ravens, Stonehouse has 15 goals and 16 assists for 31 points.
