Bridget Carleton was awarded the Toyota Canada Players of the Week for Jan. 22-26, along with Purdue All-American centre Zach Edey, on Canada Basketball’s website.

Among the Canadian players who currently playing overseas, Bridget Carleton had a standout performance with Uni Gyor in Euroleague play. In a 91-80 win over KGHM BC Polkowice, the Chatham native scored 41 points.

Carleton had a monster scoreline, knocking down eight of her 10 three-pointers and going a perfect 11-11 from the free-throw line. She also grabbed six boards and four steals.
