Five Lancer wrestlers qualify for OFSAA

Five Ursuline Lancer wrestlers clinched OFSAA berths by finishing in the top three at the SWOSSAA wrestling meet held on Feb. 21.

Earning first place at SWOSSAA were Alyssa Crummer, Landyn Bardoel and Ayden Brown. Emmanuella Caleb earned a silver. Paige Srokosz and Abby Case-Bullard won bronze. A few regional third-place wrestlers get to go to OFSAA. Case-Bullard qualified for OFSAA

A total of 10 members of the UCC wrestling team competed at SWOSSAA in Windsor.

The OFSAA provincial high school wrestling meet will be held March 5-6 in Hannon.
