Myers among team leaders in first pro season

Noah Myers

Tilbury’s Noah Myers is playing his first season in the Tampa Rays minor league system with the Class A Charleston RiverDogs.

Myers is fifth on the team for batting average (.232), tied for second in home runs (3) and second in stolen bases (18).

Myers leads the team in on-base percentage (.423).

Myers was signed by the Rays this past January after having a strong season last year with the Evansville Otters in the independent Frontier League.

Setting an Otters’ franchise record for runs scored in a season, the 24-year-old outfielder finished in the league’s top 10 in batting average (.322), on-base percentage (.438), slugging percentage (.568), runs (86), hits (114), doubles (23), triples (five), stolen bases (41) and total bases (201) in 2023.

He also had 18 home runs and 58 RBIs in 93 games.
