Carter Chadwick wins league honour

Chatham Maroons player Carter Chadwick was named the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League’s Collins Clothiers rookie of the month for December.

In seven games, Chadwick scored six goals and three assists for nine points.

Chadwick, who is from Cobourg, currently has a nine-game point streak. In 23 games, Chadwick has 10 goals, six assists for 16 points.

This is the second rookie of the month honour for the Maroons this season, as Liam Campbell won the award in October.

The Maroons play this Saturday in Komoka, and then host St. Mary’s on Sunday night in Chatham.
