Goure makes AHL debut
Grande Pointe’s Deni Goure is back with the ECHL’s Rapid City Rush after making his AHL debut on Jan. 3 with the Calgary Wranglers in a 5-4 overtime win against the Manitoba Moose.
The 5-foot-11, 185-pound forward has been one of the Rush’s top performers this season with 16 points in 29 games. Goure is the youngest player on the Rush’s roster.
This is Goure’s first professional hockey season after spending four seasons in Owen Sound that yielded 102 goals, 149 assists and 251 points over 259 regular season games.
Goure was a first-round OHL draft pick of Owen Sound in 2019.
