Griffith named a AHL second-team all-star

Wallaceburg’s Seth Griffith was named to the American Hockey League’s second-team all-star team last week.
Playing for the Edmonton Oilers top farm club the Bakersfield Condors, Griffith was tied for second in league scoring with 72 points in 65 games.
Griffith led the AHL in assists with 51 and was one point behind scoring champion Andrew Poturalski of the San Jose Barracuda.
Griffith spent this past season as the Condors’ captain and is the longest tenured player on the roster, playing the past five years in Bakerfield.
A graduate of A.A. Wright public school, Griffith’s Boston Bruins jersey hangs in the school’s hallway.
