Jordan picked in CFL draft

Ethan Jordan (WLU Athletics)

Chatham’s Ethan Jordan was picked in Tuesday’s CFL draft. He was chosen by the Ottawa Redblacks in the sixth round, 51st overall.

Jordan had a stellar career with the Wilfred Laurier Golden Hawls, catching 243 passes for 3,274 yards and 27 touchdowns during his university career. He was a U Sports all-Canadian receiver for the past three years. Prior to university, Jordan played for the Chatham-Kent Golden Hawks as a quarterback.

At the CFL combine held last month in Regina, Jordan had a 4.44 40-yard dash, making him one of the fastest tested players available in the draft.
