Wallaceburg minor lacrosse players make Team Ontario team

Local lacrosse players were recently named to take part in the Canadian Box Lacrosse championships as part of Team Ontario.

Kayonah Soney, who plays in the Wallaceburg minor lacrosse system, was named to the girls U15 team, which will compete in Halifax in August.

The girls U22 team include’s Wallaceburg Griffins Mya O’Neil and Arionna Hopkins.

Wallaceburg’s Layla Olah, who is going into Grade 11 at Ursuline College Chatham, was named as an alternate on the girls U17 box lacrosse team,
