Roberts follows in brother’s Team Ontario footsteps

Chatham’s CJ Roberts doesn’t have to go too far to get advice on playing basketball for Team Ontario.

Roberts, who is going into his Grade 12 season, has made the Ontario under-17 boys’ basketball team going to the Canada Summer Games on Aug. 10-16 in St. John’s, Newfoundland.

A multi-sport athlete, CJ Roberts played at Ridley College with his brother Caleb the past season. The Roberts brothers, along with Chatham’s Jaxen Baker, helped Ridley win the Ontario Scholastic Basketball Association championship earlier this year.

Caleb has Team Ontario experience, winning gold with Ontario at the Canadian championships in 2024 (17U) and 2022 (15U).
