Warriner coaching Jokers in Germany

Blenheim’s Todd Warriner will be coaching hockey in Germany once again this year.

Warriner will be the head coach of the ESV Kaufbeuren Jokers in Germany’s second-tier league.

Last season, Warriner coached the Tilburg Trappers in Germany’s third-tier league. He was named as the division’s coach of the year.

Warriner began coaching in Germany halfway through the 2023-24 season with the Hannover Indians.

Warriner is bringing Windsor’s Andrew Donaldson to Germany to be an assistant coach with the Jokers. Donaldson is a former Chatham Maroons assistant coach and also coached with Warriner at the University of Windsor. coached together for three years at the University of Windsor.
