Chatham-Kent Crush 11C team goes undefeated to win gold in Stratford

It was a gold-medal weekend for the Chatham-Kent Crush U11C team at the Stratford Aces Festival Cup this past weekend.

Showing up with intensity, determination, and a drive to win —the team went 6-0, defeating St. Thomas 4-3 in the final.

In the semi-finals, the Crush advanced with a 4-1 win over Brockville. In round robin play, the 11C team put up four shutouts, defeating St. Thomas 6-0, St. Mary’s Rock 10-0, Wilmot 8-0 and South Huron 5-0.

In the Western Ontario Girls Hockey League 11C West division, the Crush are 5-0 this season, outscoring their opposition 29-4.
