Bluebirds open playoffs in Alvinston on Saturday night

The Tilbury Bluebirds will begin the first-round of the Northern Premier Hockey League playoffs on the road on Saturday.

The Bluebirds, who finished in fourth place in the NPHL South Division, will take on the first place Alvinston Bees in a best-of-seven series.

Game 2 is Tuesday, Feb. 17, in Tilbury at 7:30 p.m., Game 3 is Saturday, Feb. 21, in Alvinston and Game 4 is Sunday, Feb. 22, in Tilbury at 7:30 p.m.

If necessary, Game 5 is Friday, Feb. 27, in Alvinston, Game 6 is Saturday, Feb. 28, in Tilbury at 7:30 p.m. and Game 7 is Tuesday, March 3, in Alvinston.

Jake Durham and Dylan Denomme tied for the Tilbury scoring lead, with each notching 30 points.
