Cobras win International Silver Stick title

The Kent Cobas U15A team won the Port Huron International Silver Stick championship on Sunday, February 1, 2026.

U15A Kent Cobras won the International Silvers Sick hockey tournament in Port Huron on Sunday, defeating the Midwest 49ers 7-4 in the finals.

The team got hot at the right time, knocking off three undefeated teams on their way to the championship.

Chatham-Kent went 2-2 in the round robin, including a 2-0 loss to the 49ers. The Cobras went into the playoffs as the seventh seed, and beat Collingwood 6-3 in the quarterfinals, and then topped the top seed South Oxford Storm 4-2 in the semifinals.

The Cobras were part of the U15/U14A division which featured 16 teams from across North America.
