Maroons to face Stratford

The Chatham Maroons will open their Greater Ontario Hockey League (GOHL) Western Conference semi-final on Sunday at home in a best-of-seven series.
Chatham will host the Stratford Warriors in game one on Sunday, March 29, at Chatham Memorial Arena at 7 p.m.
It will be deja vu all over again, as the Maroons defeated Stratford in the Western Conference semi-final in seven games, in a hard-fought series last year. Chatham went on to win the Sutherland Cup.
The Warriors are a well-disciplined team, that focuses on slowing down high-scoring teams.
Like Chatham, Stratford is a long-time Junior B power with a lot of tradition. The Warriors play in William Allman Arena, which is 102 years old.
The box office for Chatham’s home game will open at 5:30 p.m. Ticket prices for adults are $13, seniors 65+ are $11, kids 6-10 are $10, and 5 and under are free.
